Dr Vicky Thai

Principal Dentist and owner

Dr Vicky Thai is the Principal Dentist and owner of Parkmore Family Dental, with over a decade of clinical experience in both private and public dental practice across Australia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from The University of Melbourne in 2006.

In addition to leading Parkmore Family Dental since 2017, Dr Vicky also practises at The Royal Dental Hospital (Primary Care Department) and serves as a Clinical Demonstrator at The University of Melbourne, mentoring future dental professionals.

Dr Vicky is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and is committed to ongoing professional development. She has completed advanced training in dental surgery, implant dentistry, Invisalign, and orthodontic education through the Progressive Orthodontic Seminar program.

Her additional qualifications include:

  • Primary Examinations – Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons

  • Australian Society of Implant Dentistry Accreditation Course

  • Invisalign Certification

Her clinical interests include:

  • Periodontics (gum disease treatment)

  • Endodontics (root canal therapy)

  • Cosmetic dentistry

  • Clear aligner therapy

Dr Vicky is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese, helping provide accessible, patient-focused dental care to diverse communities.

Dr Nathalin Thea

Dr Nathalin Thea is a Dentist at Parkmore Family Dental. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at The University of Melbourne after earning a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the same institution.

Dr Nathalin enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular clinical interests in oral surgery and restorative dentistry. She is committed to providing patient-centred care and focuses on delivering comfortable, evidence-based treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.

She has a gentle and approachable manner, helping patients feel at ease throughout their dental visits. Dr Nathalin especially enjoys working with children, supporting them in building confidence and positive experiences around dental care.

Fluent in English, Teochew, and Khmer, Dr Nathalin is dedicated to making quality dental treatment accessible to diverse communities.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys running and exploring Melbourne’s vibrant food scene.

Dr Khoi (Cory) Tran

Dr Khoi graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The University of Adelaide. He has extensive clinical experience across community and rural dental settings in South Australia, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in preventive dentistry, aesthetic treatments, and oral surgery. Dr Khoi is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, with a strong focus on comfort, clear communication, and long-term oral health outcomes.

Fluent in written and spoken Vietnamese, Dr Khoi is passionate about making dental care accessible to culturally diverse communities. Having grown up in Keysborough, he understands the local community and values building long-term relationships with patients and families.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Khoi enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and camping, and spending time cooking and playing sports with family and friends.

Dr Corina Deng

Dr Corina graduated from La Trobe University with a Master of Dentistry. She has clinical experience working across regional Victoria, including Bendigo, Ballarat, and Albury-Wodonga, where she provided comprehensive dental care to diverse communities.

Now based in Melbourne, Dr Corina is committed to serving her local community with patient-focused, evidence-based dental treatment. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is particularly passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and feel confident in their smile.

Dr Corina believes that building trust and clear communication are essential parts of quality dental care. She works closely with each patient to create personalised treatment plans that support long-term oral health outcomes.

She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, helping make dental care more accessible to culturally diverse communities.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Corina enjoys playing the piano, staying active outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Danny Nguyen

Danny completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. His training has taken him all across Victoria, from Gippsland to the Goulburn Valley, and everywhere in between. This provided him with experience working with people from all walks of life.

Danny enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and has a particular interest in restorative dentistry. He is also passionate about preventive care, strongly believing that education, early intervention, and good oral health habits are key to maintaining long-term dental health. He is committed to creating a calm and comfortable experience for every patient. He believes in a collaborative approach to treatment, working closely with patients to understand their goals to achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Outside the clinic, Danny enjoys spending time with family as well as playing board games with friends. He can also often be found baking or searching for the best ice cream in town. As someone with a well-known sweet tooth, he’s the first to admit he enjoys a treat (in moderation!)

Dr Wee Teng (Samantha)

Dr Samantha graduated from the University of Melbourne, where she completed both her Bachelor of Biomedicine and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. She has clinical experience working in metro and rural areas, treating patients of all ages. 
Dr Samantha routinely practices all facets of general dentistry, with particular interest in cosmetic and preventative dentistry. She is a gentle dentist and takes pride in providing high quality care to help each patient achieve their best oral health. She strongly believes that everyone deserves to have a healthy smile, and aims to provide an environment where patients can have the best understanding of their dental health.
Fluent in English and Mandarin, Dr Samantha comes from a Chinese Malaysian background.   
Outside of dentistry, Dr Samantha enjoys experimenting with both digital and film photography, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr Waleed Khalid Malik

Dr Waleed brings a friendly and patient-focused approach to dentistry, combining a strong scientific background with a genuine passion for helping people improve their oral health. Originally from Melbourne, Victoria, he completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree at Monash University before pursuing his dental education at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, where he earned both a Bachelor of Dental Health Science and a Master of Dentistry degree.

His interest in dentistry was sparked by his own experiences as a teenager, which highlighted the positive impact that quality dental care can have on a person’s confidence and wellbeing. This inspired him to enter a profession where he could make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Since graduating, Dr Waleed has developed experience across a range of clinical settings, caring for patients from diverse rural, regional, and metropolitan communities. This has helped him build a flexible and personalised approach to treatment. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including preventative care and restorative dentistry, and is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain long-term oral health.

Known for his calm and approachable manner, Dr Waleed prioritises open communication and patient education. He believes that the best outcomes are achieved when patients feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved in decisions about their oral health. His goal is to create a positive dental experience where patients feel relaxed, supported, and confident in their care.

Outside the clinic, Dr Waleed enjoys staying active through basketball and soccer, as well as spending time outdoors hiking. He is passionate about travelling and exploring new destinations, particularly discovering exciting new places to eat and experiencing different cultures. In his downtime, he enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
